About The Position
Monterey Park Hospital, a 101-acute care facility located in the San Gabriel Valley of Los Angeles County, is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Telemetry Unit. This is a full-time, 12-hour night shift position.
Requirements
- Current CA RN license required.
- Current BLS and ACLS (AHA) required.
- EKG certification required.
Nice To Haves
- BSN preferred.
- Six months of recent experience in an acute care setting preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provides care, treatment, counseling, and health education to the hospitalized patient.
- Responsible for planning and coordinating care from admission through post-discharge.
- Planning and coordination includes meeting and exceeding compliance with core measures, contributing to a reduction in LOS, active participation with all aspects of quality, safety, and performance improvement activities, and collaboration with all the members of the multidisciplinary team in providing outstanding customer service to patients, family members, physicians, and the public.
- Meets and exceeds CDPH, The Joint Commission (TJC), and other regulatory requirements.
