About The Position
Monterey Park Hospital, a 101-acute care facility located in the San Gabriel Valley of Los Angeles County, is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Telemetry Unit. This is a full-time, 12-hour night shift position.
Requirements
- Current CA RN license required.
- Current BLS and ACLS (AHA) required.
- EKG certification required.
Nice To Haves
- BSN preferred.
- Six months of recent experience in an acute care setting preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provides care, treatment, counseling, and health education to the hospitalized patient.
- Responsible for planning and coordinating care from admission through post-discharge.
- Meets and exceeds compliance with core measures.
- Contributes to a reduction in LOS.
- Active participation with all aspects of quality, safety, and performance improvement activities.
- Collaboration with all the members of the multidisciplinary team in providing outstanding customer service to patients, family members, physicians, and the public.
- Meets and exceeds CDPH, The Joint Commission (TJC), and other regulatory requirements.
