About The Position

Monterey Park Hospital, a 101-acute care facility located in the San Gabriel Valley of Los Angeles County, is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Telemetry Unit. This is a full-time, 12-hour day shift position reporting to the Critical Care Services Director.

Requirements

• Current CA RN license required.
• Current BLS and ACLS (AHA) required.
• EKG certification required.

Nice To Haves

• BSN preferred.
• Six months of recent experience in an acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides care, treatment, counseling, and health education to the hospitalized patient.
• Responsible for planning and coordinating care from admission through post-discharge.
• Meeting and exceeding compliance with core measures.
• Contributing to a reduction in LOS.
• Active participation with all aspects of quality, safety, and performance improvement activities.
• Collaboration with all the members of the multidisciplinary team in providing outstanding customer service to patients, family members, physicians, and the public.
• Meets and exceeds CDPH, The Joint Commission (TJC), and other regulatory requirements.
