About The Position

This is a full-time (100% FTE) position for a Registered Nurse (RN) Clinic Supervisor, typically working Monday through Friday, day shift hours. The role involves working onsite at various UW Health clinic locations in Madison, WI, including University Hospital, Deming Way Clinic, Science Drive Medical Center, and East Terrace Medical Center. Travel between clinic sites is required. The RN Clinic Supervisor will assist RN Clinic Managers in leading daily operations and coordinating patient care services at pediatric specialty ambulatory locations. Responsibilities include supervising clinical team members, promoting staff continuing education and evidence-based practice, participating in projects, and facilitating communication and collaboration among disciplines to ensure high-quality, cost-effective care.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Required
  • RN licensed in the state where employed Required
  • 2 years of RN experience Required

  • 1 year of progressive relevant leadership experience Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assist the RN Clinic Managers in leading the day-to-day operation and coordination of patient care services at all clinic locations.
  • Supervise clinical team members at our Pediatric Specialty ambulatory locations, travel will be required between the various sites.
  • Promote staff continuing education and evidence-based practice.
  • Participate in various project work and initiatives.
  • Facilitate communication, coordination, and collaboration among disciplines regarding identification, planning and provision of high quality, cost-effective care.
