About The Position

The RN Clinic, ENT/Audiology provides comprehensive nursing care to patients in an outpatient clinic setting, supporting assessment, treatment, care planning, and evaluation of patient outcomes. This role works collaboratively with ENT providers, audiologists, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver safe, coordinated, and patient-centered care. The RN contributes to a supportive clinic environment by assisting with specialty workflows, promoting clear communication, and responding to diverse patient needs across ENT and audiology services. The position supports quality initiatives, accurate clinical documentation, and efficient clinic operations in alignment with Trinity Health standards. Through clinical expertise, teamwork, and attention to detail, the RN Clinic, ENT/Audiology helps ensure consistent, high-quality specialty care and positive patient experiences.

Requirements

  • Current or temporary RN license in ND or compact RN licensure.
  • CPR required within orientation period.
  • Ongoing Point of Care certifications as required for department required within orientation period.
  • RN program as evidenced by licensure.
  • One year or more of professional nursing experience preferred.
  • Clinic experience preferred.
  • Coding experience preferred.
  • May include travel to satellites.
  • Computer use.
  • Trinity community clinics – draw and package lab tests.
  • Minot Clinics – participate in Convenient Care weekend schedule.
  • The role requires a combination of standing, walking, sitting, bending, and reaching throughout the clinic day.
  • The RN must be able to assist patients with mobility, perform clinical procedures, and handle light to moderate medical equipment and supplies.
  • Adequate vision, hearing, manual dexterity, and communication skills are necessary to provide safe patient care and effective coordination.
  • Work is performed in an outpatient clinic and nursing service office environment with regular patient interaction.
  • The role may involve exposure to infectious conditions, blood and body fluids, and medical equipment, requiring adherence to infection prevention practices and use of appropriate personal protective equipment.
  • The position may include travel to satellite clinic locations and participation in variable clinic schedules based on operational needs.

Responsibilities

  • Perform patient assessments, triage, and nursing interventions to support diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing care management.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care in collaboration with providers and the care team.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and point-of-care testing in accordance with clinical protocols and physician orders.
  • Document patient care, clinical findings, and care coordination activities accurately in the electronic health record.
  • Support clinic operations by assisting with laboratory specimen collection and preparation, scheduling coordination, and patient education.
  • Collaborate with clinic staff and leadership to support quality improvement, patient safety, and regulatory compliance.
