About The Position
Our patients are our number one priority! We're committed to giving children back their childhood! This role involves demonstrating the ability to quickly assess and problem-solve complex situations. The position requires prescribing, delegating, and coordinating nursing care for a diverse patient population including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, school-age children, and adolescents. Patients will present with medical and surgical conditions, orthopedic and neurological conditions, as well as developmental disabilities. The role includes case managing the patient population and acting as a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame, providing quality care. Additionally, the role assists in maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Requirements
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- Hold current Texas RN license or is eligible for reciprocity and holds a temporary permit from the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners to practice professional nursing
- Current BLS certification required
Responsibilities
