About The Position

Royal Oaks in Duarte, CA, is seeking a Part Time Charge Nurse RN to join its Skilled Nursing team. Licensed Nurses are responsible for the nursing needs of residents while actively incorporating the “Philosophy for Person-Directed Care.” The role ensures a safe and healthy environment for residents, staff, and visitors, and involves participating in the resident’s daily life rhythm. The Charge Nurse will help develop assignments in coordination with care partners and keep each team member accountable for resident care and satisfaction.

Requirements

• Current California RN license
• Minimum of one or more years of current or prior RN experience in post-acute senior care environment
• Minimum of one or more years of current or prior RN experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility
• Current BLS and First Aid certification

Responsibilities

• Ensuring a safe and healthy environment for residents, staff, and visitors to participate in the resident’s daily life rhythm
• Performing comprehensive nursing evaluations and assessments
• Initiating plan of care as needed and appropriately supervising resident care
• Developing assignments in coordination with the care partners and keeping each team member accountable for resident care and satisfaction
