About The Position

This role provides direct clinical patient care. The role will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis, and unit level. The role is responsible for supervision of staff to which appropriate care is delegated. The role is accountable to support CNO to ensure high quality, safe and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care in the following areas: All Critical Care CCU/ICU, ER, NICU, CVICU PICU, MICU, Radiology, Dialysis, PACU, CVOR, Labor and Delivery, OR, Cardiac Cath Lab, and GI/Endo. This position will support all the facilities in the market as needed.

Requirements

• Direct clinical patient care experience.
• Experience in assessing, planning, and implementing clinical care.
• Experience in supervising staff.
• Knowledge of nursing care standards and resource management.

Responsibilities

• Assessing, planning, and implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis and unit level.
• Supervising staff to whom appropriate care is delegated.
• Ensuring high quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care.
• Ensuring competency of clinical staff.
• Managing resources related to patient care in various units including Critical Care (CCU/ICU), ER, NICU, CVICU, PICU, MICU, Radiology, Dialysis, PACU, CVOR, Labor and Delivery, OR, Cardiac Cath Lab, and GI/Endo.
• Supporting all facilities in the market as needed.
