Healogics is the largest provider of advanced wound care services in the United States, treating over 300,000 chronic wound patients annually across more than 600 sites. With an aging society and rising rates of obesity, diabetes, and surgical procedures, the demand for expert care for non-healing wounds is significantly increasing. Healogics aims to extend its quality outcomes to as many patients as possible through its out-patient clinic partnerships. Under the guidance of the Wound Care Center Clinical Nurse Manager/Clinical Coordinator, the Registered Nurse (RN) primarily delivers patient care and manages intake and discharge processes for Wound Care Center patients. Depending on the center's structure, the RN may also function as a Case Manager for a designated group of patients. All Healogics employees are required to adhere to all Healogics policies, Hospital policies, and regulations set by accrediting organizations, federal and state bodies, and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
