About The Position

UW Health is seeking an RN Care Team Leader (CTL) to serve as a front-line nursing leader at East Madison Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin. The role requires previous OR experience and strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. The Care Team Leader assesses unit needs, ensures adequate resources for current and upcoming shifts, collaborates with clinical and non-clinical departments, and coordinates admissions, transfers, and discharges in a timely manner. This is a 100% FTE position with day and evening shifts scheduled Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. There are no on-call requirements. Hours may vary based on the department's operational needs.

Requirements

Previous OR experience is required.
At least 2 years of relevant nursing experience is required.
Registration as a professional nurse in the State of Wisconsin is required.
CPR certification is required.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

Baccalaureate degree in nursing preferred.
3 years of relevant nursing experience preferred.
National certification in a relevant specialty preferred.
