CTL Assembler - 3rd Shift - BOONE TRAIL
About The Position
Caterpillar is hiring a direct-hire CTL Assembler for its Sanford team at the Boone Trail location. The assembler performs safe, defect-free assembly and adjustment of parts and components by following documented procedures. The position uses lean manufacturing concepts to support continuous improvement and waste elimination, and requires completing standard work within an allotted cycle time of approximately 3–15 minutes. Assemblers use industrial power tools and lifting devices to move heavy components, cross-train across work areas, and learn new work areas. The position is on the third shift, Sunday night through Friday morning, from 10:15 p.m. to 6:15 a.m. Starting pay is $19.44 per hour, including an 8% shift premium; the listed summary pay range is $18.00–$22.40. Paid training, a quarterly goal-sharing program, and benefits beginning on day one are offered. Offers are conditioned on successfully completing a drug screen.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of previous work experience.
- Ability and willingness to sit or stand for prolonged periods.
- Ability and willingness to perform repetitive operations.
- Ability and willingness to lift up to 35 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience with hand tools or power tools.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Heavy equipment machine assembly experience.
- Previous work experience operating an electric hoist to lift more than 35 pounds.
- A proven track record of good attendance and work history.
- A resume is highly encouraged.
