About The Position

Registered Nurse in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) providing specialized care for adult and geriatric patients with cardiac, thoracic, vascular, and other surgical conditions requiring critical care. Focus on post-operative recovery and complex invasive hemodynamic monitoring.

Requirements

• 2 years of recent CVICU experience required.
• Active AL or Compact License (No temp Licenses accepted).
• ASN degree required.
• AHA BLS, NIHSS certifications required.

Nice To Haves

• AHA PALS preferred if working in the pediatric unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care for patients recovering from cardiac, thoracic, or vascular surgery.
• Exhibit high levels of professional competency and patient-centered care.
• Be willing to float to other units and hospitals as needed.
• Utilize the Meditech charting system for patient documentation.
