About The Position
Work in a Cardiac Surgical Intensive Care Unit (CSICU) directed towards adult and geriatric patients with cardiac, thoracic, vascular, and other surgical conditions. The role includes post-operative recovery and complex invasive hemodynamic monitoring in a 4-bed unit. Nurses must exhibit high levels of professional competency.
Requirements
- 2 years of recent CVICU experience is required.
- ASN degree.
- AL or Compact License (No temp Licenses accepted).
- AHA BLS, NIHSS required.
- AHA PALS preferred if working in a pediatric unit.
Responsibilities
- Care for adult and geriatric patients requiring critical care.
- Perform post-operative recovery and complex hemodynamic monitoring.
- Exhibit high levels of professional competency.
- Float to other units and hospitals as necessary.
