About The Position
Registered Nurse in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit responsible for providing specialized care, monitoring, and evaluating patients with critical cardiovascular conditions.
Requirements
- Experience with titration of vesicant medications and familiarity with pressors
- Understanding of PA Catheters setup and interpretation
- ICU experience required
Nice To Haves
- Advanced skills in IABP, Impella, and CRRT are desirable
Responsibilities
- Titration of vesicant medications
- Manage sedation, paralytics, and familiarity with ventilators and tracheostomy
- Perform telemetry interpretation and understanding of hemodynamics
- Setup and interpretation of PA Catheters
- Transvenous pacing and cardioversion
- Familiarity with chest tube insertions and maintenance
