About The Position

The Cath Lab provides care for both inpatient and outpatient procedural labs focusing on mechanical and electrical diagnosis and intervention for cardiac patients in the upstate New York region. Our facility features four Cath labs and three Electrophysiology (EP) labs, serving adult and pediatric patients with diverse cardiac conditions. The Cath Lab has a comprehensive pre- and post-procedural care program, working collaboratively with RN staff and cardiovascular technicians to ensure excellent patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab Experience
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• Current ACLS certification (AHA)
• Moderate Sedation training
• Dysrhythmia and telemetry competency
• New York RN License
• Experience with structural heart procedures including TAVR, MitraClip, and Watchman
• Experience in right heart and left heart hemodynamics, cardiac interventions, CTO, PCI, pericardiocentesis, vascular interventions, RotoPro, LVADs, AngioVac, and FlowTriever
• Mechanical Circulatory Support experience required, including ECMO, Impella, IABP, ProtekDuo, and LVAD
• Critical care or cardiac experience is required

Nice To Haves

• Cardiovascular Certified or RCES preferred
• Familiarity with device and ablation procedures and equipment
• Experience in EP lab
