About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess Level I trauma experience and the ability to screen busy Level II trauma cases. This role requires adherence to a 50-mile radius rule and a valid Arizona nursing license. This position is open to those seeking an enriching experience in trauma and acute care settings. Requirements

• Current Arizona nursing license
• Certifications in BLS and ACLS are required.
• Experience with EMR systems, particularly Cerner and Xper.
• Knowledge and competency in maintaining sterile fields is essential.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team environment.
• Must successfully pass a dysrhythmia exam before contract processing (passing score of 80% required, two attempts allowed).
• All nurses are expected to complete simulation lab training.

Nice To Haves

• Level I trauma experience
• Ability to screen busy Level II trauma cases.
• Prior experience in interventional cardiology and vascular procedures is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in an acute care setting.
• Administer daily duties including Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes, with specific training in simulation labs.
• Participate in required educational sessions covering lifts, restraints, and wound care.
• Manage a caseload of interventional and electrophysiology (EP) patients, performing 10-25 cases per day.
• Work as a circulator in the cath lab, adhering to all safety and procedural protocols.
• Complete mandatory call shifts, responding within a 30-minute timeframe.
