About The Position
The RN in the Cardiac Cath Lab will circulate cases including administering medications/sedation and monitoring patients through procedures. The RN may also monitor or scrub if trained to do so during a variety of cardiac, interventional radiology, vascular, structural heart, and electrophysiology procedures.
Requirements
- BLS and ACLS certifications through AHA.
- Ability to respond to call requirements within 30 minutes.
Nice To Haves
- 2-3 years of experience in interventional radiology and cath lab preferred.
- Familiarity with charting systems such as Cerner and Merge preferred.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and sedation during procedures.
- Monitor patients through various procedural steps.
- Assist with charting and documentation using EMR systems.
- Work collaboratively with a team during procedures.
