About The Position
The Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Cath Lab is responsible for sedation monitoring during procedures. The role includes working collaboratively with cardiologists and cath lab technicians in a high-paced environment with 1 to 1 patient care ratios.
Requirements
- Valid nursing license
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA)
- Experience with conscious sedation testing
Responsibilities
- Sedation monitoring during cardiac procedures
- Coordinate with cath lab technicians for scrubbing and hemodynamic monitoring
- Participate in a call rotation twice a month, including weekends and holidays
