About The Position

CHI Health St. Elizabeth is a 260-bed nonprofit regional medical center in Lincoln, Nebraska. Its Resource Team/Float Pool is designed for flexible nurses who provide high-quality care across multiple nursing departments. Nurses committed to a 0.6 or higher earn premium differential pay in addition to normal differential pay; base pay, merit increases, shift differentials, and holiday pay are handled in the same manner as for core staff. The pool is intended for nurses who value working across departments and wish to maximize their income, rather than those seeking the stability of a single unit. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide compassionate, individualized care by making assessments, performing skilled procedures, and implementing patient care plans. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support patient outcomes and recovery. The role follows the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, and requires documentation of all phases of that process in the healthcare consumer’s record. Care may include coordination, education, and discharge planning, with professional and legal standards followed when delegating care. A sign-on bonus and education assistance are offered to new hires who meet eligibility requirements.
