Some of the services provided include inpatient care, medication management, structured therapeutic programming, scheduled recreational activities, nutrition and medication management, and access to community resources for ongoing support. This team works collaboratively to foster a safe, team-oriented environment. As an RN on this team, you will assist fellow caregivers in delivering exceptional care by interacting directly with patients, families, and visitors, offering the opportunity to enhance their experience and supply healthcare information as needed. This position requires a caregiver who is empathetic, understanding and nurturing to ensure quality patient care and effective life-saving treatment.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN program)
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) OR the American Red Cross
One-year current acute care RN experience in a hospital setting
Will consider licensed military RN experience

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care.
Implement and monitor patient care plans.
Monitor, record and communicate patients’ conditions.
Evaluate, update and revise plan of care to facilitate achievement of planned and expected outcomes
Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
Educate patients and family with educational materials considering cultural issues and other special concerns
Administer prescribed medications and treatment in accordance with approved nursing protocol
