About The Position
Simple Staffing is hiring on behalf of Bishop Rehabilitation and Nursing Center for a Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor in its Weekend Baylor Program in Syracuse, New York. This is a full-time role with a consistent schedule of two scheduled weekend days per week, providing flexibility during the week while supporting residents and the nursing team.
Requirements
- Valid New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 3 years of Long-Term Care experience.
- Availability to work the required two-day weekend Baylor schedule.
- Strong leadership skills and a positive, team-oriented approach.
- Familiarity with electronic health records and medication management systems.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Basic computer proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate resident care by scheduling, assigning, and supervising nursing staff.
- Provide compassionate support to residents and their families.
- Answer questions and address concerns from residents, families, and staff.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment by enforcing policies and procedures.
- Protect resident privacy and maintain confidential information.
- Oversee accurate and timely documentation of resident care.
- Promote teamwork and communication among nursing and interdisciplinary staff.
