About The Position

UW Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to work in anesthesiology at University Hospital. The RN supports conscious sedation and regional anesthesia procedures, including administering medications and monitoring patients. The role provides care for patients of all age groups. The position is 100% FTE, with 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts scheduled Monday through Friday between 7:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Hours may vary according to departmental operational needs. Holiday coverage is on rotation with the Nerve Block Team.

Requirements

At least 6 months of relevant clinical experience.
Telemetry or equivalent experience.
Experience in conscious sedation.
Registration as a professional nurse in the State of Wisconsin upon hire.
CPR certification upon hire.
ACLS certification within 6 months.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
Surgical services, procedural, or ICU experience preferred.
Clinical certification preferred.

Responsibilities
