About The Position

UW Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to work in anesthesiology at University Hospital. The role involves sedation and monitoring of patients during conscious sedation, medication administration, and monitoring patients during regional anesthesia procedures. The nurse will provide care for patients of all age groups. The position is 100% FTE, with 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts Monday through Friday between 7:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Hours may vary based on departmental operational needs. Holiday work is on rotation with the Nerve Block Team.

Requirements

At least 6 months of relevant clinical experience.
Telemetry or equivalent experience.
Experience in conscious sedation.
Registration as a professional nurse in the State of Wisconsin upon hire.
CPR certification upon hire.
ACLS certification within 6 months.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
Surgical services, procedural, or ICU experience preferred.
Clinical certification preferred.
