About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking an experienced Ambulatory Registered Nurse for a Urology Clinic in Syracuse, NY. This is a contract position for 14 weeks, with a day shift from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, totaling 42.5 hours per week.
Requirements
- Minimum 1.5 years of recent acute care nursing experience within the past 2 years
- Active New York State RN License required
- AHA BLS Certification required
- Associate Degree in Nursing or higher from an accredited nursing program
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
Nice To Haves
- Ambulatory clinic experience preferred
- Urology clinic experience highly preferred
- Experience performing ambulatory procedures such as cystoscopy and bladder instillations preferred
- EPIC EMR experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the ambulatory urology clinic
- Assist with cystoscopy and bladder instillation procedures
- Perform patient assessments and medication administration
- Monitor patients before and after procedures
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans
- Maintain accurate EPIC EMR documentation
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
