About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) – Ambulatory Vascular Surgery Clinic for an exciting Travel or Local job in Syracuse, NY. This role involves performing comprehensive nursing assessments and patient triage, providing direct patient care within the ambulatory vascular surgery clinic, and assisting physicians and clinical teams with vascular surgery procedures and patient management. The nurse will monitor patient conditions, administer medications and treatments, educate patients and families, maintain accurate documentation in EPIC EMR, coordinate patient care, and ensure compliance with protocols in a fast-paced ambulatory environment.
Requirements
- Current New York State RN License/Registration
- Minimum of 1.5 years recent acute care nursing experience within the last 2 years
- Strong nursing assessment and clinical decision-making skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
Nice To Haves
- Experience in hospitals of similar or greater size/acuity preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and patient triage
