About The Position
This is a Casual Status also known as Per Diem OR RN position at the Ambulatory surgery center (Ximed) at La Jolla Memorial hospital. It is a varied shift. M-F with a start time between 0630-1000. Join our Ambulatory Surgery Department team as a Registered Nurse (RN) at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla.
Requirements
- One (1) year of RN experience in the Operating Room
- Current California Registered Nurse License
- Current BLS and ACLS certificate from the American Heart Association
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree in nursing
- Ambulatory surgery experience
- 2 years or more circulating OR experience
Responsibilities
- Provides direct patient care within the scope of his/her practice.
- Patient care includes assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes.
- The RN takes primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team under his/her supervision.
- Works collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.
