About The Position
Join our Ambulatory Surgery Department team as a Lead Registered Nurse (RN) at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla. You will provide direct patient care within the scope of your practice. Patient care includes assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes. The RN takes primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team under his/her supervision. Works collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.
Requirements
- Registered nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing.
- California Registered Nurse License
- One (1) year of recent surgery or operating room RN experience
- Current American Heart Association BLS provider certification
- Current American Heart Association ACLS provider certification
- Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English
- Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree in nursing
- 3 years or more experience in Nursing experience is preferred
- 2 years or more of related experience
- CNOR certificate
- Leadership experience
