About The Position

This is a per diem/casual position working 10-hr shifts in the GI Lab at the Anderson Medical Pavilion in La Jolla. Business hours are Monday-Friday from 7am-5:30pm, with shift availability based on need. Training will ideally be full time hours for two weeks. Requirements

Completion of accredited RN program
Minimum 1 year RN experience
Current CA RN License
BLS & ACLS through the American Heart Association

Nice To Haves

1 year procedural RN experience
Inpatient RN experience
GI Lab experience
BSN

Responsibilities

Ensure Scripps patients and their families have an exceptional health care experience.
Provides direct patient care to high acuity patients in a complex department within the scope of practice.
Engages in complex clinical procedures and may provide clinical assessments to surgical patients in the hospital setting.
Patient care includes compliance with patient assessments and care tasks, triaging, completion of clinical procedures, emergency protocols and medication administration.
Works collaboratively with the other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.
