About The Position

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking an RN – Ambulatory (Internal Medicine) for an exciting Travel or Local job in Syracuse, NY. This position involves providing direct patient care in an ambulatory/internal medicine setting, performing comprehensive nursing assessments, administering medications and treatments, and educating patients and families. The role requires accurate documentation using Electronic Medical Records (EMR), preferably EPIC, and collaboration with interdisciplinary healthcare teams in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State required
• BLS Certification required
• Minimum 1.5 years of recent acute care nursing experience required
• Clean professional license history required

Nice To Haves

• Experience in hospitals of similar or greater size/trauma level preferred
• Level 1 Trauma Hospital experience highly preferred
• Experience with EPIC EMR preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an ambulatory/internal medicine setting
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and document findings accurately
• Administer medications, treatments, and patient education per physician orders
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to care teams promptly
• Maintain accurate documentation using Electronic Medical Records (EMR), preferably EPIC
• Assist physicians with examinations, procedures, and follow-up care
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and medications
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection control, and safety standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Deliver compassionate care in a fast-paced clinical environment
