About The Position
Sprenger Health Care is a third-generation developer, owner, and operator of senior living communities and services in Ohio and South Carolina. Its services include long-term nursing care, assisted and independent living, memory care, hospice, home care, respite care, and short-term post-acute rehabilitation. The RN ADON supports nursing facility operations by overseeing resident care, coordinating staffing and resident transitions, and assuming the Director of Nursing role when that person is unavailable. The position may also cover the floor or various shifts as needed. The role is located at Anchor Lodge in Lorain, Ohio. Compensation is competitive and based on experience. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is advertised.
Requirements
- Be a licensed registered nurse.
- Have 2 years of experience in long-term care management.
Responsibilities
- Assume the Director of Nursing position when the Director of Nursing is unavailable.
- Direct, evaluate, and supervise all resident care and initiate corrective action as necessary.
- Coordinate staffing and address emergent issues as needed.
- Coordinate resident admissions, transfers, and discharges, and communicate with discharge coordinators and social service consultants.
- Establish good public relations with hospital discharge coordinators and social service consultants.
- Act as a Charge Nurse and cover the floor or various shifts as needed for the best interest of the facility.
