About The Position

Join Baylor Scott and White Medical Center - McKinney as a Registered Nurse and be part of something better! Our Acute Care Unit (ACU) is a fast-paced environment that includes high acuity patients. We foster an environment that supports learning, mentoring, and building every team member. The patient population includes General Adult Medical-Surgical and Telemetry. The unit has 48 beds and a patient ratio of 1:5. This is a Magnet facility with over 80% BSN-prepared nurses, a strong practice council, and opportunities for skill advancement and growth. We offer free charge nurses and dedicated unit supervisors for day and night shifts. Great collaboration across disciplines and wonderful inter-department teamwork are hallmarks of our unit.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2.5 years of Acute Care/Med Surg Tele hospital experience.
• Graduated from an Accredited Program.
• Specialized field of study in nursing.
• RN license.
• BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of starting.

• BSN degree (over 80% of staff are BSN prepared).
