About The Position
The Clinical Nurse is an integral member of an interdisciplinary team of licensed and unlicensed caregivers dedicated to providing individualized, high-quality, and safe patient care to patients, families, and significant others. This role operates within a clinical environment that is structured and supported by Nurse Managers and other healthcare leaders through a shared governance model.
Requirements
- Current and valid nursing license in the state of Georgia.
- Comprehensive knowledge of nursing practices, principles, and relevant patient care protocols.
- Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.
- Commitment to professional development and adherence to ethical standards in nursing practice.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act.
- Implement evidence-based practices and contribute to ongoing research initiatives.
- Encourage the voice of the patient while adhering to system policies and procedures.
- Support service excellence goals within the patient services team.
- Uphold the standards set forth by the Scope of Practice and Code of Ethics from the American Nurses Association.
