About The Position

Logan Health is looking for RNs to join its Acute Care Unit (ACU) team in beautiful Northwest Montana. The 40-bed Acute Care Unit cares for a wide variety of patients, including those with COPD, CHF, kidney failure, GI bleeds, sepsis, and post-operative ortho, urology, and neuro patients. Patients may also be transitioning from ICU, IMC, or directly from the ER. The unit offers excellent patient ratios, strong teamwork among skilled professionals, and 24/7 support from Shift Unit Supervisors (SUS). Requirements

• Current Montana RN license or compact license.
• 2+ years of related experience preferred (hospital, clinic, or physician office).
• Strong knowledge of nursing theory, medical terminology, HIPAA, OSHA, and infection control.
• BLS/CPR required; additional certifications as applicable.
• Excellent critical thinking, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Computer literacy (Microsoft Office and EMR systems).

• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, goal-directed nursing care using the nursing process.
• Implement provider orders accurately and efficiently.
• Anticipate and assess patient needs; coordinate timely interventions.
• Educate patients and families on health and medical needs.
• Document patient encounters per organizational standards.
• Maintain infection control and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure safe, effective care.
