About The Position

The RN will primarily work on the 1S Observation unit but will also be required to float to other Med-Surg units (Respiratory, Stroke, Cardiac, etc.) and possibly the ED as well if appropriately skilled/knowledgeable. This is a 36 hours/week position, with an evening shift (7p-7:30a) and every other weekend required. Taking call would be a very rare occurrence.

Requirements

• Current Epic EMR proficiency is required.
• Active BLS is required.
• Active ACLS is required.
• Minimum 3 years of current/recent Telemetry/Med Surg experience.
• Ability to read Telemetry/BCRA (will be tested on day one and immediately terminated if unable to pass).
• Must be Epic proficient (will be immediately terminated if not).

Responsibilities

• Work primarily on the 1S Observation unit.
• Float to other Med-Surg units (Respiratory, Stroke, Cardiac, etc.).
• Float to the ED if appropriately skilled/knowledgeable.
• Read Telemetry/BCRA.
