RLA / Caregiver - FT/PT - Starting at $16 plus/hour
About The Position
Providence Place of Pottsville is seeking Resident Life Associates (RLA's) / caregivers to enhance the quality of life for residents. These roles involve assisting residents with care, companionship, activities, and dining experiences within an assisted living community. Residents' care levels vary from Independent Living (needing little or no assistance) to Personal Care (needing some help with dressing, bathing or mobility). The community also services residents with memory impairment in specially designed dementia neighborhoods. Providence Place is committed to developing its co-workers and treating residents with the respect they would want for their own grandparents.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required
- Prior experience working with Seniors / Dementia Residents
- Reliability
- Willingness to work as part of a great team
- Ability to work every other weekend and every other evening (EOW/EOE)
Responsibilities
- Help improve the quality of life of residents
