About The Position

National Star Services, a facility management company, is hiring Rivet Removal Helpers for its Palmetto, Georgia location. The role involves removing E-track rails, rivets, bolts, and other fasteners from shipping containers using hand and power tools. Helpers inspect and sort removed components for reuse or recycling, with a target of completing approximately two 40-foot containers per 8-hour shift. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, at $20.00 per hour, with biweekly pay.

Requirements

• Provide two updated, valid forms of identification.
• Have transportation to and from work.
• Wear steel-toe boots at work.
• Have knowledge and experience using basic power tools.
• Be able to perform demanding manual work.
• Be able to stand for extended periods and work inside shipping containers.
• Be able to work under noisy conditions.
• Pass a background check and drug test.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Remove E-track rails, rivets, bolts, and other fasteners using hand and power tools.
• Safely operate electric and air-powered tools, including drills, grinders, and rivet-removal equipment.
• Inspect removed components for damage and sort materials for reuse or recycling.
• Complete approximately two 40-foot containers per 8-hour shift.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, follow safety procedures, and wear required PPE.
• Report equipment issues and perform other duties as assigned.
