Our Co-op/Intern Programming is offered with select Co-op and Internship roles and is designed to help you better understand the TD business, build on critical career capabilities, and broaden your professional network. This program is designed to complement your on-the job experience and features: Leadership talks with key Leaders from across the organization Lunch and Learns on topics such as Innovation Diversity and Inclusion and Personal Branding and so much more Model Risk Management (MRM) group is at the forefront of shaping how the bank governs, manages and innovates with models across the Enterprise. We design and drive cutting-edge governance, risk and control strategies ensuring responsible AI and modeling practices while empowering the bank to operate confidently within its risk appetite. The Senior Analyst will join the Model and AI Risk Governance team of MRM and will play an instrumental role across a range of activities, including but not limited to: model inventory system strategic initiatives, reporting to senior executives, and support in model lifecycle transformation programs with high-visibility. The role involves interaction with a large range of stakeholders within business and risk management. Problem solving skills, ability to work efficiently and effective communication are key success factors in this role.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Data, Business/Commerce or related field
  • Must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree with the intent of going back to school at the start of your work term (requirement of all co-op/intern positions)
  • Applications must include a transcript, cover letter (one letter-sized page or less) and a resume (maximum of 2 pages).

Responsibilities

  • Creating, Documenting and Testing Business Requirements on enhancements to the model inventory
  • Working with business partners to ensure that the information in the model inventory is complete and accurate
  • Quality Assurance / Quality Control testing to ensure that Model Owners are compliant with model risk procedures
  • Involvement in assessment and implementation of upcoming regulatory requirements
  • Compiling and Assessing Model Risk Key Risk Indicators (KRIs)
