About The Position

The Risk Intelligence Manager leads and develops a team of fraud analysts who investigate emerging threats, respond to fraud incidents, and translate behavioral insights into effective risk strategies. The role strengthens the people, tools, processes, and analytical standards that enable the team to succeed through coaching, improved investigative practices, established best practices, and development of skills for solving increasingly complex risk problems. The manager partners with Risk leadership and teams across Data Science, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering to turn investigative findings into scalable improvements that reduce fraud losses, support intelligent risk-taking, and improve customer experiences. Success requires strong people leadership, analytical judgment, operational discipline, and the ability to communicate complex risk issues clearly to technical, business, and customer audiences. Risk Intelligence proactively detects and monitors fraud to mitigate financial losses and protect portfolio health. The organization collaborates with Data Science to improve machine-learning model performance, uses real-world fraud patterns and merchant feedback to enhance detection, and aims to reduce friction while driving revenue and building merchant trust.
