About The Position

MSIG USA is seeking a Risk Governance and ERM Data Analyst to support its enterprise risk management (ERM) function. This role will provide data-driven insights, maintain risk governance frameworks, and ensure accurate and timely risk reporting. The analyst will be instrumental in monitoring organizational risks, managing risk registers, coordinating governance activities, and supporting risk-related regulatory submissions. MSIG USA is part of MS&AD Insurance Group Holdings, Inc., a leading global P&C carrier with a strong financial standing and international presence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in risk management, internal audit, data analysis, or governance support, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools.
  • Familiarity with enterprise risk frameworks (e.g., COSO ERM) and regulatory risk reporting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with risk management platforms or GRC tools (e.g., AuditBoard, Archer, MetricStream).
  • Understanding of regulatory environments and reporting requirements (e.g., ORSA, NAIC, MAS).
  • Project coordination experience in cross-functional environments.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the ongoing monitoring and assessment of enterprise risks and the effectiveness of internal controls.
  • Maintain and update enterprise risk and control registers. Facilitate the addition and categorization of new risks across the organization.
  • Track and update key risk indicators in coordination with risk owners. Ensure timely collection and validation of KRI data.
  • Support the development of dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to monitor and quantify enterprise risks. Assist in scenario analysis and trend identification.
  • Maintain the library of risk-related policies, ensuring documents are current, approved, and aligned with corporate governance standards.
  • Organize and support risk committee meetings, including agenda setting, preparation of materials, and documenting meeting minutes. Assist in risk-related regulatory and internal reporting requirements.

Benefits

  • The base pay range is $90,000.00 - 110,000.00. Salary determinations are based on various factors, including but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location.
