About The Position

As an ERM Analyst, you'll support programs to identify, measure, monitor, and control risks throughout the organization. You'll play a key role in the Bank's Enterprise Risk Management Team, who is responsible for several enterprise wide programs, including Risk and Control Self Assessment (RCSA), Controls Testing, Issue Management, Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) Platform and Program, Third-Party Risk Management, Policy Framework, and Technology and Information Security Risk Management. The ERM Analyst will be responsible for executing the Issue Management program, ensuring adherence to program methodology, policies and standards and will help develop reporting, training, and continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain a strong understanding of enterprise risk management, issue management, governance, and regulatory expectations applicable to the organization. Perform periodic assessments to evaluate adherence to Issue Management standard requirements; document results and support the development of corrective actions where necessary. Process approved issue maintenance requests, ensuring updates to issue records are completed accurately, timely, and in accordance with Issue Management program requirements and established procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Entry level understanding of risk management principles, internal controls, audit practices, SOX, or banking operations acquired through education or internship(s)
  • Entry level understanding of industry and three lines of defense (e.g., banking operations, information technology, SOX, compliance, risk management, audit)
  • Knowledge of risk management tools and systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, CoPilot, and PowerPoint)
  • Willing to pursue technical knowledge (e.g., COSO, COBIT, NIST, FFIEC) and advanced certifications of risk frameworks and industry best practices (e.g., CISA, CERP, ISACA, CIA, CISSP, CPA) related to the role
  • Entry level speaking and writing communications skills
