About The Position

The Risk Control Assistant provides clerical and administrative support to the Risk Management department, helping ensure the efficient coordination of insurance, safety, subcontractor compliance, and claims-related processes. This position assists with maintaining records, tracking claims, preparing reports, and supporting departmental programs under the direction of the Risk Control Administrator. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion. This salaried nonexempt position will work with direct supervision.

Requirements

  • Valid PA driver’s license with acceptable driving record per company minimum standards for drivers.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
  • Knowledge of Company database systems.
  • Ability to learn and follow GOH company policies and procedures.
  • Ability to research, collect and analyze various types of data.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize workload.
  • Ability to interface effectively at various levels of the organization.
  • Ability to distinguish confidential and/or personal information and prevent unauthorized disclosures.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s degree in business administration, risk management or related field preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • 3–5 years of administrative or office support experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Collect incident/accident tracking data, prepare safety performance reports, and maintain OSHA logs and recordkeeping.
  • Document maintenance of Risk Management programs, procedures and publications.
  • Coordination of employee safety training and recordkeeping.
  • Coordination of medical surveillance and respiratory programs.
  • Assist with the administration of the Workers’ Compensation program.
  • Administrative support for property and liability claims; including claim submission, gathering documentation and monitoring claim progress.
  • Assist with maintaining the subcontractor management program. Including distributing and tracking new subcontractor agreements & contracts.
  • Request, collect, and track proof of insurance coverage from new and existing subcontractors to ensure compliance with GOH subcontractor requirements.
  • Procurement of documentation for audits, compliance reviews, and internal reporting requirements.
  • Assist with maintaining compliance with online auditing platforms e.g., ISNet, Veriforce, Avetta. Including tracking requirements, uploading documentation, and monitoring compliance status.
  • Perform additional assignments per supervisor’s direction.
  • Travel and/or drive vehicle as required.
  • Exercise proper care and maintenance of company equipment.
