About The Position

Fleetwood Bank is hiring a full-time Risk & Compliance Manager to maintain adequate and effective risk and compliance programs and ensure the Bank adheres to federal and state banking laws and regulations. The role covers the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)/Anti-Money Laundering (AML) programs, identity theft, fraud, vendor management, disaster recovery, business continuity, and assistance with information security.

The position serves as the Bank’s compliance manager and requires strong knowledge of banking laws and regulations. It is based in person at the Fleetwood location, with daily onsite work required. Job offers are contingent upon completion of a criminal background check.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Five to ten years of banking compliance or risk experience.
• Strong knowledge of banking laws and regulations.
• Excellent analytical, research, and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-paced environment.
• Ability to work in person at the Fleetwood location daily.
• Completion of a criminal background check is required for a job offer.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Bank’s compliance manager and maintain effective risk and compliance programs.
• Oversee the BSA/AML and Fraud department and manage the Bank’s BSA/AML/Fraud system, Verafin.
• Oversee the Bank’s Identity Theft program and partner with internal constituents on its execution.
• Oversee and facilitate the Vendor Management program, including executing and evolving the annual review process.
• Maintain and update the Bank’s Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Plans.
• Lead partnership with other operations groups to execute annual risk assessments and tabletop exercises.
• Assist with Information Security.
