About The Position

Smoker Craft, Inc currently has an opening in our Rigging Department! This position works from our plant-in New Paris, IN. Starting pay can range from $23.07/hr. to $25.08/hr depending on experience. Shift Schedule is 6 am to 2:30 pm, Monday-Friday, can include overtime as needed. Responsibilities include: Mounting and rigging of all major outboard brands. Perform basic electronics installations; GPS, Depth Finders, Radio components, etc. Installation of outboard hydraulic steering systems. Installation of trolling motors Installation of tops, mooring covers and other canvas products Forklift driving and training. Taking classes or courses as needed to advance your technical skills. Requirements

  • Previous rigging experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to operate a forklift a plus.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work with a team toward one common goal
