About The Position

4Wall is seeking a Rigging Department Lead to support its Rigging Department and help prepare and maintain equipment used in entertainment productions. The role includes supporting Rigging Department Technicians, executing pick lists, maintaining quality control, and checking orders in and out. The lead will clean, organize, test, and troubleshoot motors, controls, rigging, power distribution systems, and related equipment; maintain updated certifications; and perform general equipment repairs and maintenance. The position may also involve learning and working in other Shop departments as needed. Duties include loading and unloading trucks, requiring the ability to lift 75–100 lbs.

Requirements

• Previous experience in theatrical rigging and electric motors.
• Good computer skills.
• A proactive approach to troubleshooting and repair.
• Ability to lift 75–100 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the entertainment lighting and video industry is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to Rigging Department Technicians.
