About The Position

Yesterland Farm Operations LLC is hiring Ride Operators at Yesterland Farm in Canton, Texas. This seasonal, part-time role supports the farm’s Fall, Christmas, and Spring events, including the Fall Festival, Spooktacular Nights, Christmas Carnival, and Bunnypalooza. Operators work outdoors to provide guests with a safe, friendly, and memorable experience by operating rides, explaining instructions, enforcing safety rules, and assisting guests. The position requires availability on weekends, holidays, and select weekdays during seasonal events, with especially high demand during the Fall Festival and Christmas Carnival. Full training is provided; previous ride operation experience is a plus but is not required.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Positive, guest-first attitude and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Ability to follow detailed safety instructions and procedures.
• Good communication and situational awareness skills.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift or move items up to 25 lbs.
• Available to work weekends, holidays, and peak event days, especially during the Fall Festival and Christmas Carnival.

Nice To Haves

• Previous ride operation experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate rides safely and efficiently according to training and guidelines.
• Greet guests warmly and provide clear riding instructions.
• Monitor guest behavior and enforce safety rules at all times.
• Assist guests with boarding, securing safety restraints, and exiting rides.
• Conduct safety checks before and during ride operation.
• Keep the ride area clean and organized, and report maintenance concerns.
• Support crowd control and line management during busy periods.
• Work with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
