About The Position

This is a full-time, on-site opportunity for a dedicated physician who is passionate about diagnosing and treating autoimmune and musculoskeletal conditions in a patient-centered clinical environment. In this role, you will provide comprehensive rheumatology care, including evaluation, diagnosis, and long-term management of conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, gout, osteoarthritis, and osteoporosis. You will work alongside a collaborative team of healthcare professionals within the Medical Practice industry, contributing directly to improved patient outcomes and the continued growth of the practice.

Requirements

  • MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) degree from an accredited institution
  • Board certification or eligibility in Rheumatology
  • Valid medical license to practice in the state of New Jersey
  • Associate-level clinical experience in rheumatology or a related medical field
  • Strong diagnostic and clinical reasoning skills in managing autoimmune and musculoskeletal disorders
  • Experience interpreting laboratory results, imaging, and diagnostic testing
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients and colleagues
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, on-site medical practice environment
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous professional development
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in clinical documentation
  • Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat patients with rheumatologic and autoimmune conditions
  • Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical history and physical examinations
  • Order, interpret, and analyze diagnostic tests such as blood work, imaging, and joint aspirations
  • Develop and manage individualized, long-term treatment plans for chronic conditions
  • Prescribe and monitor medications, including biologics, DMARDs, and corticosteroids
  • Perform joint injections and other in-office rheumatologic procedures as needed
  • Educate patients and families on disease management, lifestyle modifications, and treatment options
  • Collaborate with primary care physicians, orthopedic specialists, and allied health professionals
  • Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records and clinical documentation
  • Stay current with advancements in rheumatology research, therapies, and best practices
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical team meetings
