Rheumatologist - Part Time
About The Position
Dignity Health Medical Group – Dominican, a service of Dignity Health Medical Foundation, is seeking a Rheumatologist to join their established, comprehensive practice in Santa Cruz, California. This role is part of a multidisciplinary care team within a multispecialty group, focusing on providing compassionate and expert services. The position offers flexible part-time options (0.5 FTE - 0.8 FTE) and the opportunity to shape and grow rheumatology services in the community. The practice is affiliated with Dominican Hospital and is part of the larger Dignity Health network, which is a member of CommonSpirit®.
Requirements
- MD or DO with Board Certification/Eligibility in Rheumatology (ABMS or AOA)
- Ability to practice autonomously as a solo rheumatologist
- California medical license (or ability to obtain)
- Passion for building programs and leading with clinical excellence
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills in a team-based, patient-focused environment
Responsibilities
- Manage a part-time clinical schedule within a multispecialty group.
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of autoimmune and musculoskeletal conditions.
- Collaborate with internal medicine and specialty providers.
- Participate in clinical education, mentorship, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Help shape and grow rheumatology services within the community.
