About The Position

This role will lead a team of hourly sanitation employees in the Regional Fulfillment Center to maintain operational areas are kept clean, safe, and efficient. Additionally, this role will be responsible for all facilities and property maintenance and repairs, asset protection and management, and maintenance contracts for the region. This role reports to the RFC Operations Manager.

Requirements

  • AA Degree or equivalent: or 1-2 years related experience.
  • PC Proficiency on the following programs: MS Outlook, Word, & Excel.
  • Ability to conduct business on the telephone & E-mail professionally and accurately for extended period of time.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods.
  • Demonstrated understanding of general equipment maintenance and warehouse repairs.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all existing maintenance programs and contract for the region for both assets and general building PM work.
  • Source and implement new maintenance agreements as needed.
  • Finds cost-effective partnerships for routine and unexpected repairs to warehouse fleet and facilities.
  • Research, track, manage, and approve all regional invoices related to F&M, supplies, and sanitation.
  • Perform all in-house repairs as required, outsourcing maintenance and repair efforts only when necessary due to situational complexity or warranty requirements.
  • Serve as primary owner of the region’s asset tracker.
  • Partner with regional director and advise other leaders in asset life-cycle program management.
  • Lead all sanitation efforts for the warehouse, with direct reporting of all sanitation team members across multiple shifts.
  • Oversee and manage all projects tied to warehouse, office, and other property modifications.
  • Maintain availability for off-hours emergency situations, or conditions impacting operational effectiveness.
  • Oversee security processes, personnel, and development as a newly added function within the operation.
  • Serve as direct report for all 3rd party security personnel.
  • Assist regional director with meeting all budgetary goals regarding F&M and outside services.
  • Responsible for successful onboarding, training and retention of new hires.
  • Support regional OSHA and USDA food safety protocol and compliance.
  • Occasionally serve as local point of contact for IT, network, electrical, or other work efforts as needed.
  • All other job duties as assigned by regional leadership.
