About The Position

RF Shielding Fabricator is responsible for cutting, bending and shaping metal components using a range of fabrication equipment such as saws, lathes, drill presses and grinders. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. Minimal exposure to radiation on a daily basis.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Basic Wood Working and Trim Installation
• Door Lock and Hinge Assembly Installation
• Cleaning and Preparing of Materials for Fabrication Purposes
• Basic Assembly of RF Components, i.e. RF Galvanized Panels, Copper Panels, RF Screens, Honeycomb, etc.
• Possess knowledge base and practical expertise to utilize hand tools, power tools, and shop machinery.
• Demonstrate hands-on experience and knowledge of safety protocols for forklift operation.

• 3-5 years Shielding Fabrication
• Travel will be limited, but may be requested
