About The Position

As a CACI Mission & Engineering Support Modeling and Simulation Analyst supporting the Joint Navigation Warfare Center (JNWC), you will contribute to Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) superiority for Department of Defense, interagency, and coalition partners. The role is based at Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico, where JNWC serves as the DOD’s Center of Excellence for Navigation Warfare (NAVWAR) and PNT capabilities integration. You will provide modeling and simulation support for coordinated space, cyberspace, and electronic warfare operations intended to assure and prevent PNT information. The work supports joint planning, Operation Plan (OPLAN) analysis, and NAVWAR operations across domains and military operations. You will assess offensive and defensive NAVWAR capabilities in contested environments, identify knowledge gaps, and help develop tactics, techniques, and procedures to mitigate NAVWAR vulnerabilities.

  • Bachelor of Science in an engineering discipline, such as Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience researching and developing multifunction small-form-factor payloads for NAVWAR-based missions.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and analyze models of novel algorithmic concepts to produce distributed electronic sensing effects for NAVWAR payloads.
  • Prior leadership or management experience in higher-level roles, demonstrating the ability to lead teams and projects effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Reverse engineer existing NAVWAR signal processing solutions and ensure system requirements are synthesized, allocated, and derived to produce a fully defined, mission-compliant system architecture.
  • Support development and implementation of client requirements for RF solutions, including services, products, technologies, and capabilities for airborne mission environments.
  • Perform Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) testing on systems susceptible to PNT/GPS denial or deception.
